Job Description:

At Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, we raise funds and awareness for local children’s hospitals across North America. We believe that by changing kids’ health we can change the future. To meet these ambitious goals, we develop international partnerships and fundraising programs to raise the critical funds hospitals need to provide state-of-the-art medical care for kids. As a member of our team, you’ll play a significant role in helping 10 million sick and injured kids every year.

Manager, Program Development is responsible for current program enhancements and new program development based on customer intimate needs. This position works collaboratively with subject matter experts to generate excellent programs for customers. They must maintain a customer intimate mindset. The Manager, Program Development must team with customer, component, and enterprise boundaries to be successful. This position manages 2 – 3 programs and must have excellent time management skills. They also find ways to cross-pollinate programs with best practices and resources to maximize the output of all programs. They must be knowledgeable in all of CMN Hospitals program offerings.

 

The Essential Work You Will Do (top few priorities the position must accomplish)

  • Critical hand in helping to drive offline donor acquisition, donor retention and cultivation activities including finding efficiencies within acknowledgement processes and working with Individual Philanthropy to bring further growth to a robust National Direct Mail mid-level giving program.
  • Ability to assist in project management on all aspects of general and Hispanic Direct Mail and Media Events from inception to delivery.
  • Knowledge of direct response KPI’s such as Donor Acquisition Cost, response rate, Donor Retention, and Lifetime Value
  • Collaborate on direct mail artwork, copy, and creatives.
  • Ability to create and follow direct mail schedules, setting up campaign IDs, tracking to budget, and more.
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining costs and expenses for all direct mail and Media Event Services campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the direct mail channel, including but not limited to, creative guidelines/best practices, data sourcing, data hygiene, direct mail production cycle, A/B testing, direct mail metrics, USPS capabilities, cost associated with direct mail, etc.
  • Understanding of how the direct mail channel impacts other marketing channels including digital and e-mail
