Synergis is seeking 3 Technical Support Analysts for the Identity and Fraud Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Enterprise and Application support. Knowledge of ITIL practices is a plus. This position will be the first line of escalation the application team for requests and incidents from internal and external customers via the Service Desk. You will be responsible for joining technical bridge calls to assist in troubleshooting incidents to resolve reported or observed issues.

Technical Support Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Monitor online health of production Java application environments thru dashboards and other available tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with online production application
  • Notify the right stakeholders in case of issues and keep everybody updated of the statuses
  • Open and run triage conference calls with the technical stakeholders
  • Facilitate the RCA for the production defects
  • Support the release process with verification and validation through the release process
  • Managing/supporting the patch and updates to the Servers etc.
  • Coordinate change and issue resolution activities with network, Middleware, hardware, OS, DB, and external application groups
  • Escalation point for Level 1 support

Technical Support Analyst Required Experience and Skills:

  • Linux/UNIX and Scripting tools(ex. Korn Shell)
  • Experience with J2EE runtime environments/Middleware, technology stacks
  • Familiarity with relational databases, preferably Oracle
  • Experience with PL/SQL, SQL
  • Experience with batch job execution
