Storage-Linux Administrator

Primary Responsibilities:As a member of the Technology Services team the Storage-Linux Administrator is responsible for providing support, maintenance, administration and technical leadership for the Enterprise storage, Linux and HPUX environments. Responsibilities include making recommendations for the Storage and Linux based hardware, software, and procedure improvements; plan and coordinate migration and upgrade projects; administration and support of the enterprise NetApp SAN, HPUX, Linux, backups, disaster recovery site infrastructure, data replication; SAN network connectivity; system automation using Shell Scripts; troubleshooting and problem resolution; patch planning and application; software upgrades, including firmware revisions, operating systems, and other enhancements as required.

Qualifications: A degree in computer science or similar technical degree with 5+ years of hands-on experience or combination of education and experience demonstrating technical aptitude and interpersonal skills necessary to contribute to the operational and development objectives in a multi-platform environment including NetApp, Linux, HPUX, Azure Cloud, Oracle Enterprise database, SQL Server, and Dell EMC Data Domain. Agile/Scrum, DevOps experience also desirable. Ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively and communicate well is paramount.
