Job Description:

Cyber Security Risk Manager

MD Building Products is accepting applications for a mid to senior level cybersecurity professional, looking to lead the organization in solving complex problems in a growing manufacturing environment.

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-oriented individual who works well in a fast-paced environment, yet is still able to manage time to plan and implement projects in a proactive manner. This full time position is in Oklahoma City, but may involve occasional travel to additional MD sites around the country as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Development and ownership of an IT Security and Acceptable Use Policy, using our Risk Assessment from UDT as a primary guide

- Development of training materials and communications aimed at better educating and equipping workforce as front line of defense

- Maintenance of all security tools and audit logs

- Creation of a corporate Risk Mitigation and Business Continuity Plan

- Regular verification of all data backups and processes

- Dotted line manager of Field Tech team as a resource for deployment, maintenance, and enforcement of IT policies

Technical Requirements and Preferences

- 5 - 10 years experience in related IT security field

- Practices and methods of IT strategy, enterprise architecture and security architecture

- Security concepts related to DNS, routing, authentication, VPN, Proxy services and DDOS mitigation technologies

- ISO 27001/27002, ITIL and COBIT frameworks

- PCI, HIPAA, NIST, GLBA and SOX compliance assessments

- Mostly Windows OS, knowledge of UNIX and Linux operating systems helpful

- Knowledge of C, C++, C#, Java and/or PHP programming languages

- Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols

- Secure coding practices, ethical hacking and threat modelling

- TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching

- Network security architecture development and definition

- Knowledge of third party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies

- Preferred consideration for experience with Microsoft Office 365 or G Suite environment and extended suite of applications (sharepoint, skype, dynamics, power BI, etc)

- Additional consideration to experience in VOIP, Azure and other virtual environments such as VMware, Hyper-V

- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Casper.
