Job Description:

Under general supervision and working as part of the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT), provides crisis assessment and crisis intervention services to adults who present a need of mental health services at the St. Vincent Psychiatric Emergency Department. These services include providing individuals with information about community resources, assistance in referrals to community providers, suicide prevention and planning for safety and crisis assessments. When necessary, the CIS is able to coordinate emergency psychiatric care through either the FrontLine Service clinic or St. Vincent Charity Psychiatric Emergency Department. Makes treatment recommendations, and develops, completes and monitors individualized service plans (ISPs). Completes and maintains service documentation according to agency and regulatory standards.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or related field, or a minimum of four years professionally supervised work in the delivery of mental health, chemical dependency and/or social services. LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC required.

Schedule: 4, 10 hour shifts per week. Varied days.
