Position Description:

The Program Manager will provide supervision and consult with the clinical and operational processes of the Lorain Youth Crisis program, a partnership program with the Lorain County ESS. Clinically supervise independently licensed clinicians in acute crisis care as well as long-term outpatient therapy. Complete risk assessments on juveniles detained in the Lorain County Detention Home and collaborate with Detention Home and Juvenile Court staff to provide the most appropriate care for DH residents. Complete mental health assessments when necessary for difficult to transition youth out of the hospital. Represent Applewood Centers on county-wide Suicide Prevention Coalition. Provide quality assurance processes across systems. Provide next day linkage and referral services through phone and community outreach post crisis assessment to ensure youth are connected to the appropriate follow up service. Provide cross systems coordination of care, including but not limited to, coordination with local juvenile court system, psychiatric hospitals, external child serving agencies and child welfare systems.

This program provides services 24/7 and will require on-call phone consultation on a rotational basis.

A Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work and LISW-S or LPCC-S required.
