We have a need for an AP Specialist in CLE. With annual revenue in excess of $200M, this position is ideal for the candidate interested in an active, growing and fun environment!

WHAT YOU'LL DO WITH YOUR TALENTS:

Enter and code all vendor invoices ensuring the appropriate approval is obtained.

Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.

Process accounts payables checks on a weekly basis for multiple companies.

Resolution of all discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders and received reports.

Reconcile open accounts payable balance per company records to vendor statements and follow-up and resolve all discrepancies.

Assist with month-end close by charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by engaging in an analysis of invoice/expense reports, and tracking recurring invoices not received.

Follow-up with vendor on open receipts report.

Maintain vendor W9's and prepare year end 1099 forms and related reporting.

Assist with quarterly and year end audits.

Assist with special projects that arise within the department.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Well-developed technical proficiency. Intermediate experience in MS Office with a high emphasis in Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook.

Excellent administrative skills (including 1-3 years focused on AP) and the ability to work in a highly efficient and accurate manner.

A passion for accounting and numbers.

World-class customer service philosophy and mentality.

Highly developed and polished interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Great writing abilities.

Strong organization, follow-up and time management skills.

Professional image and the ability to effectively represent the company both externally and internally are essential, as is the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years of AP experience, particularly in a distribution environment would be ideal.

4-year degree or equivalent work experience with broad concentration (versus specialist) in Accounting, Business or other related discipline is preferred.
