Beyond the exciting responsibility of selling and growing business, the MFS Sales Rep would:

  • Complete a robust and exciting onboarding/training/development program to enable you all the tools and confidence you'll need to enter the market strong.

  • Prospect, qualify and advance direct and indirect sales opportunities.

  • Leverage online research techniques for prospecting and establishing relationships.

  • Convey to customers a complete understanding of each of the vendor's product lines, pricing structures, product applications, and product benefits.

  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers by meeting customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution and appropriate follow up.

  • Prepare and modify as necessary monthly and annual sales forecasts for submission to the segment manager.

  • Participate in industry events, regional trade shows and sales meetings.


  • The ability and desire to cold call and gain progress through that approach.
  • An ease in establishing and caring for relationships.
  • An understanding of the customer's pain points.
  • A high level of integrity that fosters trust in a mature market.
  • Collaborate with accounts to develop sourcing solutions that meet their needs.
  • Industry experience - in printed products and paper. But, we'll take a great cultural fit over experience - we can teach the industry. If you're smart and curious, we'll invest in and teach you.
  • A positive approach to all you do; you work hard, like to have fun, and WIN.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset. You approach business as though the customers are your own.
  • Excellence in serving each customer, including great follow up and commitment to delivering on your word.
  • Technical proficiency - you are comfortable using the Internet; Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and especially Excel including Pivot Tables). Microsoft Dynamics experience is highly beneficial; however, strong ERP use and expertise is highly desired.
  • A 4-year degree.
  • 2-5 years of proven-successful sales performance.
