Dual Language 1st Grade Teacher

Education: Classroom Teaching level3, Continuing-Adult, Corporate Development and Training, Customer Training, Early Childhood Care & Development, Elementary School, Fitness & Sports Training-Instruction, General-Other: Training-Instruction

1. Design effective lesson plans that focus on the Common Core State Standards. 
2. Provide instruction to elementary students in Spanish and English as part of our Dual Language Immersion program. 
3. Measure student learning and progress and use student assessment data to plan and modify instruction.
4. Work collaboratively within grade level, school, and district to support all students learning at high levels.
5. Foster a positive attitude with students, parents, and staff.
6. Maintain effective communication with families concerning students’ progress, including holding conferences.
7. Create a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research-based best practices.
9. Participate in school/district events, meetings, and professional development activities.
