Senior C# Identity Architect
$100-120K

*This is a 3 month contract to hire*

Company supports several enterprise tools and systems that are backbone for many of the critical applications and business processes. The Senior Identity Architect ensures and enhances the availability, reliability and accessibility of Information systems and tools through a cost effective standardized support model.

EXPERIENCE

  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, with C# and PowerShell skills to code against Active Directory
  • Strong knowledge in developing for a Microsoft-based identity synchronization engine (FIM, MIM)
  • Solid understanding of identity management with Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory Connect
  • Working knowledge of Graph API and PowerShell for Azure
  • Be able to quickly code C# console applications and PowerShell scripts to hook together pieces of our automation architecture
  • Basic SQL Server coding skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in a multi-forest or resource-forest environment is a plus.
  • Experience with application interface development (ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Web API) is a plus.
  • Experience with ADFS configuration and understanding of authentication/authorization protocols is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Identity & Access management (IAM) systems and provide tool administration support. The role will require strong and articulate communication skills, system administration experience along with knowledge of information security tools infrastructure.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all identity components, reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Modify synchronization engine components to properly update target systems. This involves code update of MIM management agent rules and methods, construction of new MIM management agents and modification of AAD Connect rules, as well as installation of new MIM and AAD Connect instances. Understand the potential impact of a change in one engine on other engines and identity components.
  • Code critical components in the identity architecture, as well as special purpose extract and update programs. Define SQL Server tables to handle logging, queueing and master data storage. Develop user-facing applications to provide end users with access to identity management features.
  • Configure identity and application objects in Azure. Implement Azure Active Directory Marketplace offerings.
  • Provide Level 3/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
  • Coordinate with other support teams to ensure issues impacting tools and systems are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Augment production support team to ensure 24/7 coverage and operations. Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends with little advanced notice.
