Project Leadership & Investment For Transformation (L.I.F.T.) a public/private partnership operating as one of seven learning communities in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. Our work directly impacts nine schools in the west corridor of Charlotte.

We want to transform the way students who traditionally perform poorly in school are educated by ensuring these students are equipped and ready to enter the 21st century and beyond.

Our formula for success is (LIFT)5=90x90x90. Our timeframe for transformation is five years.  In that time we will realize a 90% graduation rate at West Charlotte High School, a 90% proficiency rate in tested subject areas and that 90% of our children will obtain more than a year’s worth of growth on all state tests.
