Sonoma Charter School is a public K-8 school in the Sonoma Valley Unified School District, located at 17202 Sonoma Highway in Sonoma, CA. The mission of Sonoma Charter School is Academic Excellence Through Engaged Learning. Sonoma Charter School (SCS) was granted state charter number #009 in February 1993. The school was founded by a group of Sonoma Valley parents, teachers and community members who were seeking an alternative educational opportunity that could serve the families within the Valley and the surrounding areas.
