Job Description:

Client Support Engineer required by my trading software client in New York City.

(Customer Support Integration Client Services Trading Application Support Account Manager Fixed Income Trading Treasury Finance New York City NYC)

You MUST have the following:

  • Experience in the financial industry (preferable for an electronic exchange Bloomberg/Thomson Reuters, service vendor (ISV) or a trading floor)
  • Working knowledge of any programming language (Python, Java, SQL, C, C++)
  • Good experience with Microsoft Excel

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income financial products
  • Customer support/trader support experience

Role:

Client support/integration engineer for our trading software client. You will be providing technical support to clients (traders, broker-dealers, banks) that are using the application programming interfaces to our client's trading platform for Fixed Income products. This role will involve supporting customers via telephone and e-mail. You will be liaising with the technical team to ensure timely resolutions for issues during peak trading hours.

There are two positions available with different working hours - either 07:00-16:30 (Mon-Fri) or 11:00-20:30 (Mon-Fri).

Both roles are initial 3-month contracts with a view to being Full time positions after 3 months.

You will be:
