Job Description:

Position Summary:

The School Base Outreach Operations Manager reports directly to the COO and provides general management over the value quality assurance/control, and continuous improvement while making decisions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. This position is responsible to lead and direct the work of others and requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Details of Education and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred in the disciplines of public health, health education/promotion, social services, health administration, nursing and other related fields. At least 3 years' experience in a management position; Two years of experience working with families and children; Must possess basic understanding of the role of primary health care; Must be able to work with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all business objectives are met; understand key constraints, critical process flow, staffing, and scheduling; Collaborates with the COO to address the special needs of the outreach, staff and clients and problems/incidents of a management or administrative nature; Communicates and collaborates with other departments, physicians, clients and patients/families to encourage and foster actions which meet client needs and achieve outcome goals; Build/maintain partnership with the community where applicable; Provide hands on leadership and management while utilizing standardization, continuous improvement, and the sharing of best practices to deliver best in class operational performance.

School Base Duties

Coordinate all operations and services between clinical team and school services, school personnel, and community partners schedule clinic days, planning meetings, continuing education, agency and administrative updates, and order supplies; Manage and lead targeted outreach activities focused on promoting, integrating and informing K-12 grade level health programs services to students, families, school staff and the general school community; Assist patients in conjunction with CMSD medical staff with linkage to specialty medical care, CMSD supportive services, and additional community supports as appropriate.
